The Manager of the Finance and Accounts Department is responsible for all accounting and finance related activities, including proper recording, internal and external reporting, compliance with regulatory and other standards, the staffing and management of the department, accounting procedures, policies and systems such as software, IT and MIS. Candidates should have a solid understanding of IFRS and need to have at least a BA degree in accounting, finance, (financial) business management or a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Finance Manager, preferably in lease financing companies or in established financial institutions as well as in an industry with an expansive fleet of equipment.
The Manager of the Equipment Management Department ensures that all leased equipment always is in the best possible condition and ready for redeployment. The Equipment Manager is responsible for monitoring and tracking all leased equipment, for the deployment, adequate maintenance, proper operation and safety of the leased equipment, and if necessary, the repossession, refurbishment and redeployment. The Manager coordinates the activities of partners and (sub)contractors (such as third-party maintenance providers and distributors) and is responsible for the proper staffing and management of the department. S/he will also engage in developing specifications and equipment risk profiles, and in evaluating and selection of equipment. Candidates needs to have at least a BSc degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering or a related field, and minimum of 10 years’ experience in a managerial role for a maintenance department of a diversified equipment rental company or an established organization with a diversified fleet of heavy and industrial equipment.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for the acquisition of qualified lessees (customers), both through indirect channels (partnerships) and direct client acquisition. S/he will prepare sales and business strategies for generating a pipeline of qualified prospects and head a team of leasing officers who coordinate the process of vetting proposed lessees and equipment, preparing lease contracts and deploying the equipment. Candidates needs to have at least a BA degree in marketing, marketing management, business management or a related field and a minimum of 10 years’ in both a managerial role and in business development or sales/marketing management, preferably in the financial services industry and the business-to-business capital goods sector.
The Leasing Officer is primarily responsible for coordinating the whole processes of leasing including: equipment vetting, credit vetting/analysis, documentation, contract registration and equipment deployment. S/he works as a result-oriented sales/project manager and ensures that the leasing process is timely completed. Candidates need to have at least a BA degree in management, accounting or a related field a and minimum of six years’ experience in account or project/sales management, branch management, commercial credit management or a related field with a bank, capital goods or engineering company.
The Credit Manager is responsible for all credit approval processes, for the preparation/amendment of Credit Policies and Procedures for timely credit monitoring and reporting. S/he is responsible for managing the credit department and for adequate staffing and training. Candidates need to have at least a BA degree in accounting, finance, (financial) business management or related and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in credit management or a related field, preferably in a well-established bank or a comparable private sector financial institution.
The Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the decision-making process within the Company with analysis of internal and external data, market research and trends, and with proposals for process improvement and for new initiatives. S/he engages in market, industry, technical and competitive research, statistical and in-depth data analysis and in development of financial models, simulations and business plans. The candidate needs to have very strong (financial) analytical skills and a solid mathematical modelling background, at least a BA degree in economics, finance, marketing, or a related field and a minimum of two years’ experience as business analyst, in research and planning, for a larger, complex financial services or an industrial company.
